The "Women in Tech Summit" conference will aim to present potential of women in technology, science, innovation and to develop solutions that through better teaching of STEM will help girls build careers in science and technology and contribute to the creation of an efficient innovation ecosystem. Part of the event will be First Youth Summit - meeting of future female leaders in information technologies from Europe and Asia
The main aim of “Girls as Engineers!” and “Girls go Science!” is to introduce technical and engineering studies to female high school students and to promote this educational path as interesting, attractive and very beneficial in the long run.It is also to show that technical studies address a recognized need of business and industry to attract highly trained workers with a variety of skills.
Each year Polish technical universities and STEM faculties invited to take part in an „National Open Day - For Girls”. Through a great variety of events young women are able to gain an insight into academic life of Polish technical universities and make useful connections.
IT for SHE is an exceptional program which aims to increase the participation of women in the high tech industry, by helping talented female students of IT faculties in entering the labor market. This project has a real chance to contribute to a qualitative change in this regard thanks to active cooperation of partners.
The main elements of the program are:

Mentoring Program run by representatives of the best technology companies in Poland
Voluntary Campaign encouraging women to learn programming, directed primarily to residents of small towns
"New technologies for Girls" – it is a pioneer scholarship program for young women in Poland, who link their future with the technology industry. Intel Technology Poland in collaboration with the Educational Foundation "Perspectives" offers a unique program of support and development for high school female graduates and female students of technical universities.
The girls qualified to participate in the scholarship will receive professional support, as well as financial assistance. During the program girls will be supervised by a mentor, who will be selected from experienced staff of Intel Technology Poland. Scholarship holders will also receive a financial support of 12 000 PLN (gross) to cover expenses related with the study. In addition, the selected women will be able to participate in a paid internship program implemented in the Intel Technology Poland Sp. z o. o. Gdansk.
Girls go start-up! Academy is 12 months support of outstanding Mentors – women working in the field of new technologies, science, start-up experts and series of trainings. In addition, participants will be invited for interactive trainings: business branding, business models, networking, effective communication, startup financing, and an elevator pitch.
Girls Go Start-up! Academy – an academy of innovation for female students and graduates of the STEM studies – is an initiative of the Perspektywy Education Foundation and the Association of TOP500—Innovators.
The comprehensive project offering several solutions supporting creation of a female networking culture in the technological industry and the STEM area. The objective of the project is promotion of technical and scientific education and career in the technological industry and other STEM-related areas among young women.
The project comprises 4 interconnected elements. These are:
Mentoring Program “Lean in STEM”
Virtual Meetings “Inspiration Academy - Girls in STEM”
“Technological Teatimes” - “offline” meetings in technological companies
Objective of survey „Women’s potential for the technological industry. Choice of educational path, expectations, aspirations and market reality” is acomplex analysis of conditions relating to the choice of educational path by women, their aspirations and expectations in this area, as well as realization of these aspirations on the global market. On this basis a List of Recommendations will be created concerning support of development of women’s careers in the technological industry – starting from school, to higher education and the job market.
